POST CHRISTMAS COME BACK

Okay, so confession… I’m writing this before Christmas.

BUT BUT BUT

I already know what’s going down

There are select days of the year when I allow myself to eat whatever I want. I choose not to make the “clean” choices, and I won’t lie, I totally indulge, and I hope you did too… Because for Christ’s sake, it’s Christmas!

PSA | Eating whatever you want does NOT mean eating past the point of fullness and getting yourself sick (just have to make sure we’re on the same page)

Okay, but so what do you do AFTER all the cookies, the pie, the spiral ham, the chocolate, etc? I will tell ya!

  1. Focus on SIMPLE, WHOLE, foods'

    I can’t harp this enough. Your body will WANT to eat whole foods, most likely, after a day of indulgence. You just have to be willing to listen to it. If in your mind, you’re saying, “Eh screw it, it’s still the holidays,” then you won’t hear your body even if it’s screaming at you.

  2. EXERCISE BEFORE THE NEW YEAR

    Yes, yes. I understand the grandparents are there, the in-laws, the kids, the boyfriend, etc. BUT GET YOUR ASS UP AND MOVE YOUR BODY. If you have any desire to change your body and overall health (I’d assume you do if you’re reading this), then tough love, gf. You can ALWAYS squeeze in a 30-45 minute workout before the activities of the day begin.

  3. MAKE A PLAN OF ACTION

    The biggest lie we tell ourselves is that we’ll do it later. Am I right? I tell myself this sometimes about texting people back… 7 days later, I remember and it’s too late LOL. So stop putting off creating a plan, organizing your family, getting a gym membership, buying Tupperware, ETC! Usually that resistance is just fear of actually having to act. Fight it, and make your plan BEFORE New Years Eve.

Time to kick into high gear, girlfriend!
